Samyuktha C T, founder and artist of Sam's Sakurapetals

Founder & Artist

I was 11 when I fell in love with drawing

I didn't have a tablet back then. Just a computer, a mouse, and a lot of curiosity. I'd open a simple drawing app and spend hours trying to make my lines look right.

Then came studies, an engineering degree, and four years working as a software engineer. Art slipped out of my days almost completely. Eventually I looked at myself and realised I wasn't growing — not as a person, not as an artist. So I quit.

Sam's Sakurapetals is what came out of that. Every charm here still gets drawn by me, and each one reminds me of the girl drawing with a mouse.
